On September 27, 1864, Union troops led by Brigadier General Alexander Asboth
struck the small Northwest Florida city of Marianna. The result was a bloody
event remembered today as the Battle of Marianna. Come and relive history .

Welcome to the Marianna Day Fall Festival & Reenactments. This year we
will have the festival uptown and the North Florida Raids at Citizens Lodge
Park. More>>>>>. There will be a School Day, a Confederate
memorial program at Riverside Cemetery, a reenactment on the original
battlefield of Marianna, and two reenactments at Citizens Lodge Park on the
Chipola River. We will have live period music by the
97th Regimental String Band, and a Military Ball. Register early and plan to visit
us this September.
