On September 27, 1864, Union troops led by Brigadier General Alexander Asboth struck the small Northwest Florida city of Marianna. The result was a bloody event remembered today as the Battle of Marianna. Come and relive history .

Welcome to the Marianna Day reenactments. This year our program is better organized and will be more fun. We are planning a living history program, a Confederate memorial program, a reenactment on the original battlefield of Marianna, and two reenactments on the Chipola River, at Citizen's Lodge Park. We also plan to have live period music, by the 97th Regimental String Band, at a Military Ball and before each battle. So register early and plan to visit us this September.

  • Two different "North Florida Raids" Reenactments at Citizen's Lodge on the Chipola River. One Saturday afternoon and the second on Sunday afternoon.

$125.00 bounty for the first six artillery guns to register.
