Our goal is to perpetuate public awareness, and stimulate interest in, the historical significance of the period in Jackson County history during "The War Between the States". A Living History program is planned for Friday, September 24, 2010, from 09:00am to 1:30pm. This program is designed to educate school age children on day to day life of soldiers and civilians between the years of 1861 and 1865.
